No. 68-F.T. dated the tenth day of January 2020.–WHEREAS registration of deeds are being completed by way of the Registering Officers of the Directorate of Registration and Stamp Revenue below Finance Department, West Bengal as per provisions of the Registration Act, 1908 (Act XVI of 1908), thru the web-based centralized gadget known as e-Nathikaran;
AND WHEREAS updated record-of-ownership of immovable homes (lands and apartments) below the jurisdiction of Municipalities/Municipal Corporations/Notified Areas are maintained and vital corrections therein are made utilizing the authorities of the involved Municipalities/Municipal Corporations/Notified Areas as per provisions of the respective Acts;
AND WHEREAS authorities of the worried Municipalities/Municipal Corporations/Notified Areas are empowered to sanction constructing plans submitted to them by using the proprietor of the respective land or by using his licensed consultant as per provisions of the respective Acts;
AND WHEREAS for the preservation of updated record-of-ownership and making essential corrections therein on registration of deeds and additionally to facilitate the procedure of ONLINE sanction of building plans and in the increased public interest, it was once beneath energetic consideration of the Government to transmit electronically the statistics of registration of immovable homes underneath the jurisdiction of Municipalities/Municipal Corporations/Notified Areas to the authorities of the worried Municipalities/Municipal Corporations/Notified Areas;
NOW, THEREFORE, for the upkeep of updated record-of-ownership and making vital corrections therein on registration of deeds and additionally to facilitate the system of ONLINE sanction of constructing plans and in the higher public interest, the Governor is thrilled hereby to empower the Registering Officers of the Directorate of Registration and Stamp Revenue below Finance Department, West Bengal to transmit statistics of registration in recognize of immovable homes located below the jurisdiction of Municipalities/Municipal Corporations/Notified Areas of West Bengal electronically to the authorities of the involved Municipalities/Municipal Corporations/Notified Areas as and when registration in recognize of any immovable property located beneath the jurisdiction of Municipalities/Municipal Corporations/Notified Areas of West Bengal is achieved via the machine of e-Nathikaran or otherwise.
